Mounting Your KTS
(Note: Directions provided here for walls with studs; For mounting to other types of walls [steel, cement, or any material other than stud-braced sheetrock], consult your local hardware store representative.)
- Locate a wall stud.
- Position the T-Track aluminum rail vertically, aligned to the wall stud, with the top of the rail at chest height for the user (Refer to Image below).
- Keep the T-track aluminum rail aligned to the wall stud. Use level to ensure a balanced, vertical alignment.
- Using your Phillips-head screwdriver and the 2” screws provided, start at the top of the rail and begin to screw the rail to the wall, one screw at a time, working top to bottom. (NOTE: Failure to mount the rail to a stud may result in wall damage and loss of device functionality.)
- When the T-Track rail is fully secured to the wall, select a Roller Attachment, place it into the Roller Unit, and lock in place with the cotter pin (included with the Roller Attachment). Adjust the Roller Unit to meet your desired use and body location.
- To use a therapy band to assist motion and increase pressure of body into the Roller Unit, adjust the position of the Ring-Attachment Unit/therapy band by loosening the knob and sliding the Ring-Attachment Unit to the desired position, and tighten the knob to secure the ring and therapy band in that position. (Use only exercise-specific therapy bands; use of other materials or attachments with the ring unit can lead to personal injury and/or damage the KTS product.)
Installing Two KTS Products
A second T-Track Aluminum Rail may be installed directly above or below the first, on the same wall stud if desired.
Alternatively, the second T-Track Aluminum Rail may be installed on a different wall stud, but it is recommended that the KTS products be 4 – 6 feet apart if on the same wall to ensure ease of synchronous access for two users.
